PropertECO were delighted to be announced as the winners of the Innovative Start-Up Company of the Year at the 2012 Bath Business Awards last night.
The black-tie event, which was held at Bath Racecourse, was attended by over 300 people celebrating the best of Bath’s businesses. propertECO was shortlisted in the Innovative Start-Up Category, which was sponsored by Bath & North East Somerset Council and were presented with their award by the host for the evening, broadcaster and writer Valerie Singleton.
propertECO’s entry had focussed on the company’s innovative approach to making buildings more sustainable, including their work in the field of radon gas remediation and their unique Thermalogix treatment that has been developed to provide a cost-effective method of insulating buildings with solid walls.
Commercial Director, Rebecca Kench, was also a finalist in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Other winners on the night included architects Stubbs Rich who won the accolade for environmental business of the year, engineering firm Rotork with the award for training and development and furniture emporium TR Hayes who were voted Retailer of the Year.
