propertECO were contacted by a family who were carrying out extensive restoration works to a large Georgian home in Bath. Their builder had originally planned to tank the cellar with a waterproof coating, however radon testing carried out just prior to the works revealed that over 400 Bq/m3 of radon was present in the cellar; more than double the recommended maximum.
